Dr. Xiao has been our lab manager since the lab opened in 2015. He can help you do any experiment, find anything, and order anything. He’ll always have a smile for you too!

sarah wedemeyer, M.d./ph.d. dual degree student, ph.d. candidate

Sarah joined the lab in 2021, and jumped right in presenting her work on paracrine FGF21 signaling in thymus size regulation in podium presentations at AAI’s annual conferences in 2022 & 2023. She’ll follow up as a trainee presenter at a major symposium at AAI 2024!

kahealani archuleta, m.s. student

Kahealani joined the lab in 2023 and is investigating the impact of thymus regeneration on T cell responses to influenza.

ann v. griffith, ph.d., principal investigaor

Ann did her Ph.D. research in Ellen Richie’s laboratory and received her Ph.D. from UT Health Houston/M.D. Anderson in 2006. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship in Howard Petrie’s laboratory at The Scripps Research Institute in Florida.

Aaron joined the lab in 2023 and is investigating the impact of IGF1 overexpression in medullary thymic epithelial cells on T cell development and tolerance.
